Tucked away in a culturally rich part of North Bangalore, Aranyak is a thoughtfully designed 3BHK home named after the couple’s favorite novel by Bibhutibhushan Bandyopadhyay. Only the kitchen, living area, and master bedroom were designed, but each of these spaces carries the weight and warmth of a much larger narrative. The brief was clear and evocative — to create a space where the couple felt surrounded by books, as if living inside a personal library. The design brings this vision to life through expansive, custom-built shelving, cozy reading zones, and an atmosphere that feels both introspective and alive with thought. The living room serves as the literary heart of the home — a space to read, host, and reflect — while subtle references to Bengali culture and art infuse it with a sense of place.
